After completing her PhD in the Theory and Simulation of Materials at Imperial College London in 2015, Electra moved into software engineering. This was a natural transition thanks to all the programming she did during her studies. Since then she has worked in a variety of sectors and founded her own tech startup in 2020 (www.draughthub.com). She is now working as a fractional CTO outside her own startup in tech-for-good fields, such as climate-tech (www.quantaco.ai) and DEI-tech (Label Me Inclusive).
